Book Description
The challenges of the twenty-first century are shaped by a confluence of environmental, technological, social, and economic transformations that demand urgent, coordinated, and multidisciplinary responses. Across the world, societies are recognizing that sustainability is not a singular pursuit but a collective responsibility that transcends disciplinary boundaries. Scientific research today must not only advance knowledge but also guide practical action to protect the environment, improve human well-being, and foster resilient communities. It is in this spirit that the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches towards Clean Environment (ICMACE 2024) was conceived and brought to fruition at Assam Don Bosco University, bringing together experts, scholars, practitioners, and students from diverse fields to engage in thoughtful discourse and collaborative problem-solving.
This edited volume is a significant outcome of that endeavour. It brings together research contributions that represent a rich spectrum of disciplinary perspectives, methodological approaches, and practical insights. At its core, the volume reflects a shared commitment: to envision and engineer a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world. As editors, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to curate such scholarship, to honour the efforts of the authors, and to present this work to the broader academic and professional community.
